Presentations for Delegates can be found here.

London – October 17-18th.  Frankfurt – October 29-31.

Tape Summit 2012 will put vendors and selected delegates (12-20 industry press, analysts, bloggers, pundits, etc. in each city) together for a complete analysis of the current state of this $2.3+ billion annual market.  Details will be provided on new software application functionality as well as the continually evolving hardware functionality that is positioning tape to enjoy a healthy future and growth in many markets.  Plus we’ll have end-user case studies and an opportunity for each tape vendor to be on a tape panel within one of the venues (with a room full of end-users)

We will be partnering with IP EXPO (London, 10/17 and 10/18) and with Powering The Cloud (SNW Europe in Frankfurt, 10/29 – 10/31)

Program highlights:

·      End-User Case Studies on Tape Usage

·      Industry Analyst or Pundit Keynote on the State of the Tape Industry

·      Each tape vendor will appear on an end-user facing panel at one of the trade shows

·      Individual company briefings with delegates – as time and schedules allow

·      Networking cocktail reception(s) for all delegates and vendors in each city

·      Tape Marketing Group presentation and discussion

Included in the cost to participate – the ExecEvent team will develop a survey-based campaign that focuses on two or three distinctive stories around tape to support the Tape Summit European Tour.  All participants that sign up for both cities will be mentioned specifically.  We’ll generate press releases and an executive summary that will give you specific topics to discuss with the delegates in both cities.

Because of our partnerships with the trade shows, the pricing tape vendors for both cities is only a total of 9,700 € – which is an incredible deal for 2 separate Tape Summits.  For our ecosystem partners (who don’t directly make tape products) the cost is 60% of this….or only 5,820 € for both cities.  These prices increase on September 15th….so don’t wait.

FAQs

Why should my company attend?

  • Delegates attend the Tape Summit because they want to learn more about the industry and specific companies.   It is very rare, outside of the Tape Summit, to have a high-quality, dedicated audience that is anxious to talk to tape vendors.
  • Each tape vendor will appear on an end-user facing panel at one of the trade shows – so there is an end-user component to this tape summit that we have not had in the past.
  • Individual vendor company briefings with delegates – as time and schedules allow.
  • A true chance to build and influence the European marketplace.

What happens if my company does not attend?

  • The more vendors that attend, the more PR gets written and talked about.  You must invest in order to reap the future rewards.
  • No PR or written mentions by the 15 or more analysts/press in attendance.  No tweeting.  No chance to for a dedicated audience with delegates who are there SOLELY to learn what tape vendors are up to.
  • Risk of negative PR, such as:   “Interestingly, there are noticeable attendees missing from the Tape Summit.   One has to wonder if they’re really committed to innovating tape or if they’re just milking it while they promote a disk-only strategy?”
  • There are thought leaders, who value raising the entire tape industry up (thereby raising themselves up), and there are wall-flowers who do nothing to promote tape to a worldwide audience.  Which one are you?
  • Your company will not participate nor be mentioned in the end-user survey, its results or the subsequent press releases and discussions around the results.
  •  Included in the cost to participate – the ExecEvent team will develop a survey-based campaign that focuses on two or three distinctive stories around tape to support the Tape Summit European Tour.  All participants that sign up for both cities will be mentioned specifically.  We’ll generate press releases and an executive summary that will give you specific topics to discuss with the delegates in both cities.
What does my company get by attending?
  • Promotion on the ExecEvent website
  • Promotion and mention at either or both IP EXPO or Powering The Cloud
  • Participation in one end-user (event general attendee) facing panel – either in London or in Frankfurt (not both).  This is for tape vendors, not ecosystem partners unless space is available.
  • Copies of presentation, executive summary and press releases generated from the end-user survey on the tape industry.  This information may be used on your own website after the summit.
  • Networking events and opportunities for socializing with delegates and other vendors/partners
  • All meeting space provided

The attached brochure contains all the information you’ll need.  Pricing (with options), program specifics, marketing-survey program specifics, a list of delegates that were at each trade show last year (as examples for us to choose from), and a sampling of media generated by the spring 2012 Tape Summit in San Francisco (as examples of what can happen for us in Europe)
