ExecEvent Returns to Bay Area,
its Most Successful Venue
Virtualization & Cloud Networking Event for Senior Executives
SANTA CLARA, CA – June 9, 2010, TheExecEvent, a unique technology networking and business development-only event, today announced details for its upcoming conference, to be held September 14-16 at the Network Meeting Center in Santa Clara, CA. Registration is now open and is limited to 200 qualified senior executives in the storage, networking, virtualization and cloud computing industries.
The upcoming ExecEvent is focused on the “hottest” new technologies with the highest visibility and potential for revenues, including cloud, virtualization, object-based storage and solid state. A new panel, specifically geared to disruptive technologies, is a “must attend” for attendees to hear about the ones most likely to make a difference in 2011 and beyond. In addition to the informative presentations, there is ample time to meet, share information and form relations with top-level executives over cocktails and dinners.
Attending executives can take advantage of educational presentations, networking with other top executives and business development opportunities without the sales and marketing distractions of typical trade shows. According to Kevin Brown, CEO of Coraid, the ExecEvent is a “great forum to catch up with industry peers and press/analysts. Highly differentiated from networking at trade shows.”
Opening ceremonies on September 14th include a keynote address by Mike Feinberg, Senior Vice President and General Manager of EMC’s Cloud Infrastructure Group. ExecEvent will announce other keynotes soon. According to Feinberg the ExecEvent is an “opportunity to engage with other influencers. With the focus this year being virtualization and cloud—which continue to drive the evolution of IT—I look forward to speaking with attendees about the opportunities ahead for cloud and the role of Big Data.”
The prior ExecEvent, held in Palo Alto in January, was the most successful one to date and attracted executives, consultants and financial experts, including more than 40 CEOs. It featured keynotes by Ed Walsh, an IBM executive who has had three significant M&A transactions in the past 5 years, John Thompson, CEO of Virtual Instruments and Chairman of the Board of Symantec, and Ed Bugnion, VP and CTO for Cisco’s Server Access and Virtualization Group and a co-founder of VMware.
Registration is now open with a fee of $975 per person. Press member registration is complementary. For registration details and updates visit our event page here. Since the event is limited to 200 and is expected to sell out, interested executives are encouraged to register now.
