As senior vice president and General Manager of Rackspace’s Enterprise group, Jim brings to Rackspace more than 20 years of sales management and experience. It is his responsibility to take an already established, high performing, sales force, and continue to grow and generate consistent revenue through new sales, channel partners and emerging technologies like cloud computing.
Jim has been in the high-tech industry his entire career. Most recently, he was the executive vice president of the Americas for McAfee where he was responsible for all sales in the Americas for McAfee. Jim also served as vice president of Yahoo! Enterprise Services, tasked with diversifying the company’s efforts by building an enterprise software business to move the company beyond their traditional business. Jim has also held executive positions at BMC Software and IBM.
Jim has a bachelor ofscience in mechanical engineering from Michigan Technological University and an MBA in marketing and finance from the University of St. Thomas in Houston.
